Description
The Improvements under this Work Document Driven Contract consist of reshaping ditches and reworking shoulders on various roadways in Holmes and a portion of Washington Counties. These ditches are non-typical and should be re-graded to +/- 3 inches of the original flow line to create a free and unobstructed flow of drainage water. For the purposes of this contract, the original flow line is considered to be the linear projection along the ditch bottom between the invert elevations of immediately adjacent drainage structures. Spoil material removed from ditches and shoulders shall be relocated to FDOT storage pits in Caryville. Mobilization and Maintenance of Traffic are incidental to the pay items listed. This contract has a budgetary estimate of $450,000.00. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work.
How to read this. Plan‑pull counts come straight from agency portals. Patterns and confidence scores are derived from comparable lettings (same county, same category, three‑year basis). Confidence is a calibration of past correctness on signals of this shape — not a guarantee of this bid’s outcome. We never round up. More on what Cassandri does →
